“Every day I get the opportunity to witness firsthand Delaney’s uncompromising work ethic. It is uncommon to see someone so truly capable of handling the myriad of competing tasks and priorities that she faces on a daily basis. From coaching Dean’s soccer, to being the room mom at Dean’s school (RMCA), a mother to a rambunctious toddler, organizing and attending 100% of our family events and appointments, you would think that she would be left with absolutely no time for anything else. That is the incredible part! Apart from being the absolute best wife and mother a family could ask for, Delaney is volunteering her time selflessly to serve our community as a Planning Commissioner, leads a non-profit recognizing our great nation’s heroes with Wreaths Across America, and organizes and leads various neighborhood events. You would think that must be where her day ends, but you’d be quite wrong, Delaney also holds the highest professional certification in her respective field which requires rigorous adherence to professional standards and continuing education. Still her commitment to giving back the career field doesn’t shy away from volunteering her time as the MAG coordinator for ASFMRA’s local chapter and helping to organize chapter events and trainings to ensure the prosperity and continuation of such a critically underrecognized field. If not clearly evident from the preceding, I cannot express enough how much I admire Delaney’s steadfast devotion to her family, her community, and her career – and I know that when she’s elected to town council – Erie will benefit greatly from electing such a strong, driven, unstoppable leader.”

She loves the Erie community and wants to see it grow while keeping the kind of place where families can put down roots and small businesses can thrive. Delaney is first and foremost, a mother. Delaney is a dedicated professional with a job that requires complex technical knowledge and strict adherence to standards but that also demands interpersonal skills and empathy. Delaney is altruistically dedicated to her charity and volunteer work, never letting all the other demands in her life prevent her from filling those commitments. The same drive and passion that makes her successful in everything she does is why I know she’ll be a fabulous council member. Someone who is always prepared, resolutely determined, and never stops fighting for the people around her. Erie deserves that, and I couldn’t be prouder.”

She and her husband chose Erie because they wanted to raise their family there, and she cares deeply about protecting what makes this community so special for the next generation. As a mom herself, she understands the importance of strong schools, safe neighborhoods, parks, sports, and planning that keeps Erie a place families are proud to call home. One of Delaney’s greatest strengths is her level-headed approach. She doesn’t rush to judgment or make decisions based on emotion or pressure. She listens first, asks thoughtful questions, takes the time to understand complex issues, and works hard to find practical, fair solutions that serve the entire community. Her experience as a land and water appraiser has given her a unique understanding of property rights, growth, and responsible resource management, but what makes me most proud isn’t her career, it’s her character. She is honest, hardworking, compassionate, and committed to doing what’s right, even when it’s not the easiest path. “I met Delaney when she was 16. The moment I met her I was impressed with how mature and self-assured she is. Delaney has grown to be a wife and mother, and I am still impressed by the things she does. Delaney is intelligent, confident, and willing to listen to differing viewpoints. Delaney already serves as the vice chair for the Erie Planning Commission. As a member of the town council Delaney will bring her desire to make Erie a place where families will want to raise their children and a place where businesses want to be located in a thriving community. Delaney will bring the same dedication she brings to raising her children and managing a family to the Town of Erie as a council member. I am biased as I am Delaney’s stepfather, but I believe she would be a great addition to the Erie Town Council.”

She’s one of the most honest, hardworking, and dependable people I know, and she never backs down from doing what’s right, even when it’s difficult. She listens with an open mind, treats people with respect, and genuinely wants to make our community better for everyone.
